Our Objective |
The objective of the Series is to create and maintain a level playing field for those wishing to
race genuine "Group 1, Period 1" machines (and faithful replicas) without encountering the
'white heat' and (unfair) competition from machines bearing post-period modifications/developments.
This is with the intention of recreating as far as possible the sight, sounds, and spirit of Grand
Prix racing in the late 1950's and early 1960's for both rider and spectator alike while, at the
same time, maintaining a viable event for the host circuit/club.
The series is an invitation only event but in order to give competitors and potential competitors
a guide as to what would be welcome to the Series, a statement of machine requirements can be found
by a link on the home page. |
